I am very excited to learn from other teachers what tools and apps they use so hopefully people will submit, rate, and comment on the different tools as they explore them. I am sure using DREAM will save everyone a lot of time when trying to explore new tools, videos and other resources.

And, I’ve enjoyed finding some treasures myself! Plus, this post led me to watch the “Herbie Hancock: The Ethics of Jazz” lecture – so great! Thanks!

Like you said, posting their recordings in iSCORE makes it just a bit more “public”, which hopefully encourages the students to take that extra step in preparation.

They just have to embrace enough of it to realize that it helps them improve their process, allowing them to experience a whole new level of music making. If they reach the amount of input needed for great output, they will be hooked!

Eternal optimist that I am, I’m going to do it again AFTER I’ve offered parents a short iSCORE tutorial to get them onboard. I’m hoping to do that in mid February some time (more crossed fingers) 😉
